Welcome to Maison Sumiane, an authentic early 19 th century bastide, bursting with mysteries and stories. Imagine a house with Persian shutters opening onto a sun drenched garden that blends majestic centuries-old trees with scents of Provençal garrigue. Located in the heart of the historic town of Brignoles, where the ‘Counts of Provence’ once prospered, our guest house is the ideal base to explore the delights of Green Provence. The Provençal way of life is in our DNA! Our pledge is to bring this to life for you when you visit us. Whether you are travelling alone, on a romantic break or with your family, we can recommend local culinary or discovery experiences to make your stay unforgettable.

A charming exclusive self-catering Mediterranean cottage on 2 floors, overlooking the swimming pool. Perfect for families or a couple looking for their own space. It features a large kitchen/dining room opening onto the garden.

Maison Sumiane can be hired exclusively for a weekend or longer, to host your private events.
Maison Sumiane can adapt to your desires, whether you are planning friends’ weekend away, a family reunion, corporate events, workshops, a photo-shoot or filming – we are here to host you.

At Maison Sumiane :
To begin with, a home-made breakfast prepared with products from the best local craftsmen. At sunset, an authentic Provencal aperitif by the pool. Finally, enjoy a dinner prepared with seasonal local products and complemented by our selection of fine wines from the Var region.
